Our bilingual Montessori school has decided to join the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO)! This initiative marks an important step towards environmental education and raising our students’ awareness of biodiversity.
For the membership, we received a package that includes a blue tit nesting box and an educational booklet with activities for the children.
1. Environmental Education: The LPO offers a wide range of educational resources suitable for all levels of preschool and elementary school. Thanks to the booklet provided by the LPO, we will be able to raise awareness among our students at Christols Institute about biodiversity issues, the protection of endangered species, and the importance of ecosystems.
2. Concrete Projects : This project is part of our approach to raising children’s awareness of the environment and nature, such as setting up an organic vegetable garden, creating wildlife refuges, or organizing nature outings. These activities will allow our bilingual Montessori and elementary students to have enriching experiences and develop a strong connection with nature.
3. Network and Support : By joining the LPO, we will benefit from their expertise and support to successfully carry out our projects and initiatives.
This program is more than just a technical improvement: it reflects our desire to instill essential values such as respect for the planet and resource preservation in preschool and elementary children.

At Christols Institute, the private bilingual school in Béziers Hérault, we firmly believe in education that prepares our preschool and elementary pupils to become responsible citizens aware of environmental issues. Today, we are proud to share with you a major step in our commitment to a sustainable future: the installation during the Christmas holidays of 100 m2 of photovoltaic panels on the roof of our courtyard.
