Montessori Educator (Ages 3–6)

What do we offer?

We are offering a full-time position for a French-speaking Montessori Educator (ages 3–6) in a warm and welcoming school environment. The Educator will work alongside a native English-speaking Assistant.

Location

Béziers is a sunny city in the South of France, ideally located between the sea and the mountains. It is welcoming, lively, warm and dynamic.

Contract

Full-time permanent contract (CDI)

Start date

Mid-August 2025

Salary

Minimum €2316 gross/month (depending on experience)

Key responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the classroom environment for the September 2025 opening
• Deliver presentations and activities in line with Montessori pedagogy
• Build trusting, caring relationships with children, families and the school team
• Support each child’s individual needs and monitor their development
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff
• Maintain strong co-educational communication with parents (meetings, updates, progress reports, etc.)

Profile we are looking for

✓ Montessori 3–6 diploma (ISMM or other AMI-accredited certification)
✓ Minimum 3 years of experience
✓ Motivated, patient, and caring
✓ Minimum Bac +2 or equivalent

English is not mandatory but recommended – and you’ll likely improve naturally!

What do we offer?

We are offering a position for a native Englishspeaking Montessori Assistant for children ages 3 to 6, in a friendly, family-friendly environment. The Assistant will assist the French-speaking Montessori Educator.

Full-time permanent contract

Hiring date

Salary

Depending on seniority minimum salary of 2316 euros gross per month

What are your main responsibilities?

• Support children in their independence, learning, and daily well-being.
• Respect Montessori pedagogy and values.
• Support the Head Educator in maintaining balance within the school.
• Participate in the implementation of activities.
• Participate in the maintenance and cleanliness of materials and the environment.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team.
• Maintain good relationships with parents and ensure they are informed.
